I really enjoy our breakfast room. It’s sunny and bright just as a breakfast room should be. It’s taken some time for me to decorate it to truly reflect my style, but it’s really close now. Perhaps a few more accessories and I might call it done. But if we wait on me to consider the room finished, you’ll never get to see it. So, here it is in it’s almost done state.
And there you have it. I call the decor French Farmhouse. What would you call it?
A few of the things on my shopping list are: a rug to put under the table, some old cutlery for the wire caddy, a basket filled with dish towels to sit on the shelf of the small table, and some plates and a painted sign to add to the wall above the vignette. In due time.
Until next time,
Sharon

Good morning, Sharon~
My first thought is “What’s for breakfast?”. haha
Love your buffet and the way you’ve styled it.
The plate in the window seat would last 3 minutes around here- you’re brave!

I wish we ate breakfast more often…everyone just grabs and goes during the week. on the weekend my family would rather eat a fast food breakfast than a home cooked one. 😦 If the plate doesn’t make it, our cat would be the culprit. My daughter is an only child and is 13 now…hopefully she’s past the curious or rambunctious stage. 😉 Thanks for visiting, Tina!

Thank you, Elizabeth. The window ledge was one of the things I really liked about this room when we saw the model of this house. I’ve enjoyed trying different looks on it. I used to have a cushion there. For now, I’m enjoying being able to display things on it. I’m so glad you like it, too. Thanks for visiting!

Are any of us every really “finished” decorating? How bright and cheery! I love that big ledge in the window and the sun flowers are so happy! Great job.

You’re right. Finished is so allusive. 😉 It’s always encouraging to hear other’s think it is bright and cheery too. Thanks for the compliment!

HI Sharon, love your sunny breakfast room! That it is big enough for your large buffet is so nice! Love all your decor. May I ask where you got your table and chairs? And is it a 48 in. table? Have a great week. XO, Pinky
Sharon ت said:
Hey Pinky! I’m so glad to hear that you love my breakfast room. I love the size of it, too. You may ask anything you like. 😉 The table came from Garden Ridge..it is 41/42 in. I’ve had it for several years now. I ordered the chairs online from Target about 3 years ago. I was so happy to find the look I wanted for so much less. They’ve held up really well, too.

Comfortable is certainly what I aim for. The large window ledge is one of my favorite things about this room. I think my husband is about done welcoming decorating changes. LOL. He’s very supportive of my never ending rearranging and decorating…I think he’d really like me to stop with the living room though. 😉
