I’ve made some changes since we last toured the living room. Simple, detail kind of changes, but they made all the difference in my opinion.
I have a couple more details to iron out before I call ‘er done. I think I know what direction I want to go, but I’m hoping you will help me decide.
Thanks for helping me feather my nest.
Until next time,
Sharon

Umm . . . I vote for pop of color curtains and french gray for the ottoman and magazine shelf. But it’s already a LOVELY room! 🙂

Thank you! what color do you suggest for the curtains?

Maybe a pretty (and/or surprising!) print that includes the beautiful blue from your accent wall???

I also think the french gray for the ottoman and magazine shelf. Agree with pillowsalamode that blue in the print would really tie the room together nicely. Very lovely room!

I really appreciate the feedback. Y’all are motivating me to go get the french gray paint.

Thanks for your input Pinky! So far the french gray and curtains with blue are a unanimous opinion.

I think it is unanimous…I like the idea of the French Gray of the accessories/furniture…and a beautiful geometric print in the blue and cream would be nice for the drapes….and maybe some pops of yellow in accessories….

Shirley, if you say so, then I’m sold! Now I just need you to fly down and help me pick out fabric. 😉

Your living room looks lovely so far. I agree that a pop of color by the windows would be great. I think french gray would look lovely for the furniture (or even a pop of color there?).
Thanks so much for sharing at Romance on a dime!! I’m pinning this.

I really appreciate the feedback. Sometimes you just need a fresh pair of eyes and some affirmation. My husband does not like to weigh in on my decorating decisions. And I’m super flattered that you find this room pin worthy! 😉 Thanks for hosting!

Hi Sharon! Very pretty decorating! I love the accent color and the table top that is white! That chair is heaven too! I look at Ballard Design all the time and I see lovely mirrors such as yours. I love it!! Have you ever considered doubling them up? You have great height there. I have always wanted to do that like Ballard, but I don’t have a place to do it 😦 They put them right on top of each other. So grand I think. Anyhow…either way your room looks great! 🙂

Thank you, Julie. I need to pull out my Ballard catalog so I can see the double hung mirrors. I love the idea of taking advantage of the height above the mantel. I used to have a taller/longer mirror there, but when i found this round mirror, I had to have it. I love the look of round mirrors! Thanks for the tip!
